Paul Liberato receives the USCG Meritorious Public Service Award

On April 17th, Paul Liberato received the United States Coast Guard Meritorious Public Service Award.  As a part of in National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee, Mr. Liberato was the longest sitting member in the history of the committee with 15 years of service.

“It was an honor to be involved with NOSAC for so many years,” said Mr. Liberato.  “The work that they do is critical as NOSAC supplies the Coast Guard with recommendations and consultation on matters that aid operators and contractors to safely operate in United States waters.”

NOSAC is comprised of professionals from the offshore oil and gas industry representing different sectors such as drilling, operations, liftboats, diving etc.  Paul Liberato’s position in the commitee represented Safety and Training.  As president of Billy Pugh Company, Paul Liberato continues to provide quality safety equipment to the Coast Guard and the continuing relationship.
